Risk Management & Supervisory Conference

The BPFI Annual Risk Management & Supervisory Conference, in association with Mazars, will take place on Thursday 17th January in The Westbury Hotel, Grafton Street, Dublin 2, from 9.00am – 12.45pm. Key speakers include Sabine Lautenschläger, Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank and Elke König, Chair, Single Resolution Board.

Housing Market Monitor, Q3 2018

BPFI has published its Housing Market Monitor for Q3 2019. In his commentary accompanying the report, BPFI’s Chief Economist, Dr Ali Uğur, states that notwithstanding strong growth in 2018 in the rate of new dwelling completion it will likely take until 2021 before housing supply will match current demand.

Mortgage Approvals October 2018

The latest figures from the BPFI Mortgage Approvals Report for October 2018 show a total of 4,262 mortgages were approved in October 2018 to the value of €929 million.
